My hair is kinda meh. It's not super fine but it's poker straight. I've always liked curly hair so I always had perms. While perms are easy they're expensive and the end result does not look natural imo. Then I discovered foam rollers like these

These babies have been a total game changer for me. You wrap your hair up and they're comfortable enough to sleep in. The end result is completely natural looking curls that last all day. On day two it's not as curly but it still looks great.

Do they work? Do you have any photos of the results? I have slightly naturally wavy hair but don't really know how to make it work for me (yes, I already know r/curly hair exists before I get like 20 suggestions for it). I have found that doing a dutch braid on my hair overnight will give me decent waves, but I also wanted to have other options.
