A5 notebook cover for a friend made with 5/6oz natural chromexcel with #47 print from Maverick leather company. 1mm brown thread at 6mm spacing. Made to fit this notebook.

Pen is a TWISBI ECO with Iroshizuku kon-peki ink, would recommend.

First time working with chromexcel, burnishes surprisngly well, while the print adds a nice texture, I wish I'd gotten a "regularly" finished one.

Can post pictures of plans if interested...

QUESTION:

First time setting snaps, got a complaint from a downstairs neighbour... Does anyone know if I can use this arbor press along with these rivet setting tools? I'm mainly concerned about whether the pressing action will make it more difficult to set the snap/rivet, it was hard keeping the post straight with a hammer.
