Just grab any USB C to C cable from amazon and it will work fine

Hi Everyone,
Asking here because Ducky's support hasn't been super helpful. I bought a Ducky One 2 Mini, but wasn't able to use the included cable, because I'm using it with a Macbook Air with only USBC ports.
I bought this cable to use instead, but I still get nothing at all when plugging the keyboard in - no lights, no recognition from the Mac, etc.
Any ideas what the problem might be? Is my best option to use the included cable, and then also a USBA-USBC adapter (or would that even work)? I'm confused about what exactly the Ducky is requiring.
