Cheap and does the job. I use that cable for my monitor, and go straight from the HDMI output to the Vive.

As others have pointed out, you have to use the connectors on your video card, not the ones on the motherboard. The MB connectors aren't hooked up to the GPU that makes the magic happen for VR.

Ancora una volta ho bisogno della saggezza di Reddit per collegamenti audio/video.

Da ieri sono recentemente diventato il fortunato possessore di un vecchio televisore da 42", e come ogni buona persona farebbe ho deciso di collegarlo al pc per farlo diventare il mio terzo monitor. Per fare ciò però si sono presentati un paio di problemi:

Nel PC ho montata una 960, il problema è che essa presenta una porta DVI (fatta diventare con un adattatore una VGA per collegare il secondo monitor da 4:3), una porta HDMI (che collega il PC al mio monitor principale) e 3 porte DisplayPort, di cui ho scoperto l'esistenza solo cinque minuti fa. Nessuno dei miei attuali monitor supporta l'ultimo standard elencato (il principale ha due ingressi HDMI, il 4:3 solo VGA), quindi dovrei comprare un cavo simile a questo. Ci sono seri motivi per cui non dovrei fare l'acquisto oppure la perdita di qualità è irrilevante?

2) Mi ero ripromesso che un giorno avrei aggiunto il WiiU al sistema, e adesso che sto rifacendo i vari collegamenti mi sembra il momento adatto. In teoria volevo avere due "linee": una uscente dal PC, e si presenta il problema del punto uno, nell'altra invece volevo collegare uno splitter [tipo questo] (https://www.amazon.it/TeckNet-Splitter-Supporto-Automatico-Indicatore/dp/B00ZOV2TY0/) con però almeno tre ingressi (uno per lo Switch, uno per il WiiU e uno per lo SNES mini) e due uscite (una per il monitor principale e uno per il televisore. EDIT sono un cretino, mi hanno fatto notare che come al solito mi stavo complicando inutilemente la vita. Non mi serve più uscite, me ne basta una e poi posso staccare il cavo USB quando voglio. A questo punto cambio domanda e vi chiedo: avete splitter n ingressi 1 uscita da consigliarmi o sono tutti equivalenti?
