they're obviously just longer/narrower bulbs of the same style. they look great on their own.

just don't make the mistake of buying either of these bulbs as a primary source of light in a room - the original ones i was looking for will be going above my desk in the office in a custom stainless steel light fixture i made. they provide a great ambient light, but i still have a main light to use during times of need (e.g. fixing/upgrading the comp :D)
