no I use Avery Multi-use Labels because it keeps the bag sealed but it also make it a lot easier to reopen

These are the ones I used. Just big enough for the date, small enough to fit on the cello of a lancero. 0.5" by 0.75"

Personally I like to get these small labels and write my info in small sharpie. Then I will cover them with transparent scotch tape. This way the label never comes off, but also it isn't hanging off the cable or anything like those zip tie ones.
