They never had them at my Pgh polling places either, so last November I bought a roll on Amazon, and brought them in. They saved the left overs and brought them this time : )

No. There’s a really good one I know.

Steal a whole stack of blank gift cards from Walmart. I usually go for the birthday ones, wedding ones, because people load more to them. (Proven;). Now take em home and scratch the silver strip thingy and note all the numbers down. Pin, card number and barcode photo (just in case but I’ve never used the barcode)

Next go buy scratch off labels from amazon I promise this will be the best 6.98 you’ve ever spent.
Put the labels back on the gift cards, walk back into Walmart and put the cards back on the shelf.

Now just wait for someone to load them.
Then make a Walmart account using a throwaway email. Download the Walmart app and be sure to disable location permission on your phone(which ideally will be iPhone due to googles willingness to rat people out). Next add the cards since you noted the PIN and card number earlier.
Shopping spree time. Spend the balance online in the Walmart app or use Walmart pay in store.
Poor gift card purchaser. This is kinda a dick move tbh but who cares. Your making money here(and seriously I don’t give or accept gift cards, I give cash and sell gift card I get on rare occasion for cash so no karma here;)

Blank casettes

Pretty sure I used to see these as a kid in the 2000's from my family. Also, they're prime.

because we're dealing with dinosaur technology, I only use amazon. Buncha shady looking websites out there, but to be hones they're probably just old.

And, here's the cassette labels

Actually this one has higher reviews- the one I initially posted apparently peels off like a champ :(

Not sure how little space you have, but when we built our 2-rack server room a few years back, I got this Tool cabinet/Workbench from HomeDepot. Threw an anti-static mat on top and I love it.

If I ever need to unrack something to work on it, I roll the work bench over, unrack and throw it on the bench. All my tools and such are there, the wheels get locked to prevent accidental rolling.

Stuff it in a corner when not in use. Drawers are loaded with patch cables of assorted colors and lengths, fiber patch, power cords, rolls of velcro, zip ties (shush!), cage nuts and various screws in a multi-compartment organizer with labels(!), SFP's, rack wings, etc...couple packs of wire markers

My favorite screwdriver along with a Klein Stubby multi-bit for the hard to reach spots.

This is my new ethernet networking hub in the new house. I had two Cat6 and one RG-6 pulled to every drop and have 14 drops throughout the house. All of the ethernet drops (red and yellow in the top right of the picture) run to this cabinet and the RG-6 go to a panel to the lower right of this with the cable modem and firewall (pfSense). The house is a two story with a walk out basement and this cabinet is in a storage room next the to the stairs in the finished basement.

Send three backup clothes. Send the sleepsack. Our daycare specifically prohibits bringing toys unless they ask, so I would check.

Label everything: we use these for clothes and these for bottles/sippies. If she takes a pacifier, put it on a tether with her name on it (you can use the same labels as the clothes, or else get the rub-a-dub sharpie).

Leftover management is a huge challenge for me, so I did two things to make it easier. First, I use ONLY the 2 and 4 cup Ziploc Twist N' Lock containers. The lids are interchangeable, completely leakproof, and cheap enough that I don't care if some disappear. They also stack nicely in the fridge and cabinet, and are fine in the freezer, microwave, and dishwasher.

Second, every new container gets one of these labels made by Label Once. I used to use tape but it was a hassle. These are dishwasher proof, easy to write on and erase, and cheap. One set is plenty for almost everyone.

Hm. I work at a winery and every once in a while we get custom labels for people that say things like "Happy Holidays from the Smiths" etc. For 25 bottles, I would definitely recommend Etsy. There are lots of sellers.

Designing is a little harder. You can look around and see if there's an Etsy seller with a design you like? Most will customize. Paying anyone a design fee for 25 bottles seems like it wouldn't be worth it.

In a pinch, we've also printed our own with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Blank-Full-Sheet-Vinyl-Labels/dp/B01FKXOJOY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468475384&sr=8-1&keywords=blank+wine+label
If you don't have a printer that will work, you can often bring your own paper to a print store and they'll do it.

Good luck!

Haha, it's almost not too far off. I was just thinking the other day about how weird a nail painting arsenal must seem to someone who isn't into it. In my nail art basket, I have:

  • A makeup sponge (gradients, galaxy nails)

  • Tiny magnets (for magnetic polishes)

  • Tape - regular tape and tiny striping tape

  • Binder reinforcement stickers (for half moon manis)

  • Spray hand sanitizer (water spotted nails)

  • Toothpicks

To us it's normal, but to my boyfriend it was "Why do you need spray hand sanitizer to paint your nails?" xD

Anything made in Oregon. This is a bit of a stretch but bear with me. The Bourne Triology preceeds The Bournce Legacy. Which starred Edward Norton who also starred in Fight Club. A movie based off the book who was written by none other than Chuck Palahniuk who is from Oregon & resides there.

I'll be back to finish this!

For the j-cards I made and printed my own on cardstock using this template. This was fairly simple technically, though I did have to make some design decisions as well as figure out how to get my printer to accept cardstock.

For the labels I bought these and used the template found on the Label Outfitters website. I did ultimately find that to print them correctly you should put them in the tray face down with the thicker side of each label facing forward

It's probably too late in your project for this, but you can always print alternatively so you can skip the seal step later. However, both of these make double sided figures problematic. This increases the costs, but might balance out some of the sealing costs.

Print to transparencies. (Of course, white is then an issue.) Example: https://www.amazon.com/3M-3700-Color-Laser-Transparency/dp/B00004TS5M

Print to water-resistant labels, and stick onto plastic. Example:

> I simply need a Bitcoin wallet address/paper wallet for these children.

If you are referring to the obsolete standard of paper wallets with a private key + public address on them than ...

  1. You cannot do this with lightning, this is for onchain only

  2. You should also not do this for onchain as well as it is very dangerous and you will be training them to use obsolete and insecure practices.

If you must give them paper wallets the paper wallets should instead have 12/24 BIP 39 backup mnemonic (remember there are 8 dictionaries of this (https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0039/bip-0039-wordlists.md) but I suppose you will use english here. Also at least a receive address generated from the associated private keys to that BIP 39 backup

I would also suggest at least laminating the paper wallet(some protection against water but none against fire) and perhaps put a scratchoff sticker on the 12/24 words like -

    https://www.amazon.com/Scratch-Off-Stickers-Rectangular-Self-Adhesive-Fundraisers/dp/B07CKL8HDB/ref=sr_1_14?keywords=scratch+off+sticker&qid=1557318273&s=gateway&sr=8-14

For privacy , or have a fold over portion to cover the words.

For full on meal prep it can get costly, but glass containers are awesome.

There’s Pyrex/anchor ones: https://smile.amazon.com/Pyrex-Storage-4-Cup-Plastic-Containers/dp/B00I1VCFWQ

You can also get reusable silicone bags. Freeze like you usually would in ziplocks.

https://smile.amazon.com/Vegetable-Versatile-Preservation-Vegetables-SUQI/dp/B074DWFPDM

My cost effective solution for soups & stews or anything that comes out of the instant pot or slow cooker is mason jars with plastic lids. The glass can go straight in the microwave & the kids are easy to wash & label.

Also these labels are the best imo:

Personally I like to get these small labels and write my info in small sharpie. Then I will cover them with transparent scotch tape. This way the label never comes off, but also it isn't hanging off the cable or anything like those zip tie ones.

I have moved from Avery Labels (their software is really good) to Neato labels. I have to cut them out after they are printed but holy shit do they look good.

u/Klownicle · 1 pointr/lego

See my PM, but the direct answer is the digital document of stickers in a PDF form. Any printing of the PDF you'd need to manually cut out. This is what I did and prefer. The wheels are the hardest part due to the curves, but as they are black on black with quality sticker vinyl paper it's not noticeable if they are not perfect circles. The goal as you say is to avoid the White part. There are 5 wheels on the sticker sheet themselves when you only need 4, so there is room for "error" both in cutting and application.

I recommend these to print the stickers on; Neato-Blank-Full-Sheet-Labels/dp/B01FKXOJOY on Amazon.

u/Radioactive24 · 1 pointr/HBL

I use this. have been my go-to for over a year now.

Personally, a little more expensive than the Avery stuff, but way more durable and they look hella nicer. Comes off bottles very cleanly for reuse as well. Print it with a photo/laserjet printer.

Also, you can contact Neato directly about buying in bulk and they'll cut you a sweet price break, plus free shipping (although, not 2-day).

And waterproof (to a great degree).

u/rayyeter · 1 pointr/Homebrewing

I use these erasable labels when I do bottle things (beer gun from keg unless I specifically want to bottle condition a batch)

They're great, just make sure you put them on a bottle when it's dry.

u/youareahomo · 1 pointr/electricians

You can use Brady tags on your wires behind devices. Also label them at the panel. Here is what a book of them looks like. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003X26Y4I/ref=sr_sp-btf_title_1_4?qid=1394579345&sr=8-4

You could even go far enough to label the face plates but I think that would look pretty ugly in a home.

u/fivetide · 1 pointr/weddingplanning

Sure, just one each. Two for the best man actually. But besides that, we try hard not to get anyone too uncomfortable. So no poems or karaoke tasks ;)

We got them from german amazon (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B06ZZ99B2G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), so useless for english speakers, but you can design your own and buy scratch off stickers ...

Hey thanks for replying! So I’ve tried about 3 vinyl paper in which all three harbor the same results, “Cricut Vinyl Paper”, PPD Inkjet Glossy Creative Vinyl Stickers , and Neato Blank White Full Sheet Printable Labels .
I’ve tried 2 laminates, XFasten and StyleTech

All can be found on amazon

u/starssand · 1 pointr/sticker

No problem! You can definitely self-print with sticker paper and cutting them out yourself with some scissors. Or you can draw on sticker labels that are pre-cut into rectangles already. With packing tape, you can make clear stickers, too! Here's a tutorial. Hope all goes well with your sticker adventure!

u/kelsiersghost · 1 pointr/HomeNetworking

> Currently the main coax line goes through the basement direct to the 1st floor wall outlet, then coax to the modem.
I’ve made a drawing of how I understand the internet could go to the splitter, then run again to the 1st floor outlet, then to the modem.

Ideally, you'd have zero interruptions between the coax coming from the street, all the way to the plug on the modem. Since it sounds like the coax enters the walls to the first floor from the basement, just be sure you eliminate any coax splitters by using a barrel adapter
UNLESS you also want a coax drop for Cable TV elsewhere in the house.

Then it's just a matter of making sure you've simplified the circuit to the street using the fewest number of splitters as you can. Each two-way split introduces approximately 3.5dB of loss (a little more than 50%) of power lost. Splitters are also known to be super poorly made and absolutely go bad after a few years of use. You may consider replacing any that you're using. These are decent ones.

> I'm feeling bold

Two of those ethernet strips there in the basement look like basic patch panels. They're just for organizing the cables and don't do any switching, per se. I'd figure out what connections you actually need in the house, beyond maybe a ethernet connection to the modem, the TV and your desktop PC and then go through and eliminate everything else. If you want to double check where the lines are terminated to through the massive web of cables, you can pick up an Ethernet Probe and Test kit to make tracking everything down easier. I'd (ideally) only buy one that has a dedicated ethernet jack and is made by Extech, Fluke, or Klein. As a bonus, It's a handy tool for tracing out ANY sort of wiring, too.

Once you eliminate all the unnecessary stuff, you can start making it look nice. Use some velcro wire ties and bundle everything until it looks respectable. You MAY find that you have odd-length cables used as patch cables between the switch and the patch panel. Don't cut anything, and maybe lay out anything you eliminate by length so you can reuse them if your now-neat-looking bundle could benefit from different-length cables. Don't forget to label everything for clarity using your own philosophy.

> I’m not sure how to use this stuff, if it’s past it’s prime, or if I should even bother. But, If it could be useful I’d like to use it. I just don’t understand it despite reading the sticky’s, etc.

You'll feel a lot more comfortable once you understand what everything is and where it all goes.

All that cable is probably Cat5 or Cat5e at best. If you want to be ready for gigabit speeds in the coming years, you might consider running some new Cat6a or better. I don't know anything about the big switch in the photos, but it's probably doing the job fine for now - If you want faster than 100mbit/s network speeds though, you'll need to upgrade it along with the ethernet. As with the ethernet, it's not a priority, just a nice-to-have.

The big coax amplifier you've got there was probably built in 1974 (note: pre-internet) and is all kinds of lossy/noisy mess. I'd go ahead and get rid of that and anything coax-related that you don't think you'll end up using. There's better stuff available on the market now for stupidly cheap, if you decide that you still need an amplified coax signal.

I'd love to see more pictures once you get it all put together and looking nice. If you need any further hardware advice, let us know!
