I have used the Black Widow AMC-400 max 400# for my 300# 2008 XT250 with 2 handlebar and 2 rear foot peg straps with no issue 3 times now of varying 100+ mile distances including freeway. Check the max tongue weight of your hitch to make sure the combined weight is under max.
