I just spoke to an Amazon representative who contacted the inventory department directly. He said they are estimating availability of the CDMA version in 1-2 weeks. I would assume this applies to the few who were able to pre-order the CDMA version as well. Very disappointing.

08:47 AM PDT ja_8828: Yes that is the one, however that particular version is the GSM version. I need the CDMA version since my carrier is Verizon. It is my understanding that Amazon would be selling both? This was printed in many national publications that Amazon would sell a CDMA version as well
