I have two like the one pictured and a few triple and a quad flame and yes one was a lemon. I settled on this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000L7V5JM/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 and while it's pricey it's always worked.

Ahh, well happy birthday and good luck with your search! I had a smaller butane torch that rocked so much ass, but it was a lot pricier. That thing could melt steel (or the crook of your thumb if you weren't paying attention). Really good lighter and powerful for the size.
