They are Command brand. Once you detach the Velcro you can see the pull tabs so you just pull them and they come off cleanly. I’ve used the picture hanging strips before for actual picture frames and have never had a problem with them.

I stuck them up there with these things
These picture hanging ones.
I attached them together, cut them in half so they were slender strips, and applied them to the light strip first. Then worked my way around pulling off the backings and sticking to the cabinets. I used cheap velcro ones last time and they fell off frequently. These new command strips with the higher working load are doing much better.
Clean the cabinet surface beforehand, it really helps!
