I always had a difficult time with cloth pads because I game on a couch(blown disk in my back) so the pads sit on a soft surface underneath making the mice not want to track correctly(causing me to shake the mouse back and forth to get moving again). Perfect tracking because of the aluminum plate in-between the tracking surfaces with very low friction. With this pad and the refurbished deal on a Corsair mechanical keyboard I found on here the other day I am very happy with the results.

Every cloth/vinyl mousepad I had started to fray or gets dingy and disgusting. I've had three different ones, I love them. Corsair gave me one to write a review about and I kept it because I liked is to much here is the latest version of it.

YEOOOO best tracking on any pad I've ever used, shits on crappy cloth.

It has an aluminum core so it wouldn't be too flexible and would be good for the bed.

I've used the Corsair MM600 for months [only rough side] and it's still amazing. Haven't found anything better (aside from Artisan MID).

And it's double-sided aluminum so it's built to last. Isn't the G440 just hard plastic? I take my pad in my laptop bag everyday and I throw it around a lot so it has to be durable.

And I forgot to like this as well. It's made by corsair with two sides, I believe the hard side was faster for mice if I remember right. I'll link the video explain these mice more in depth as well, but here's the Corsair mouse pad. Slightly cheaper but it has its own perks.

Some things to consider to optimize your mouse setup:

• DPI: People have different preferences, and you gotta find what works for you and your current monitor resolution. It's generally good practice to buy a mouse with decent DPI settings. I recommend this.

• Mouse Pad: A large and smooth surface area for your movements is always better. This is why a lot of people prefer mouse pads like this and this.

• Hand/Mouse Ratio: I can't really recommend anything here, but it's usually best to use a mouse that feels right for your hand. In other words, ergonomics. The mouse I posted above works for me, but it may not be best for everyone. My recommendation here is to go to a local electronics store and try out their display 'gaming' mouses.
