A nice brass back dovetail saw is always a treat

My first dovetail was last night too! It looked like a mess. Then again, I now realize that a wide-kerf Japanese pull-saw, dull chisels, and doug fir scrap were all making the work much harder than necessary. My next purchase will likely be a Crown saw.

Frank Klausz has a video where he takes this Crown saw, gives it a quick sharpening with a file, and zips through some dovetails.

Of course, you MUST sharpen these for them to work best. I personally use these everyday!
