And it can spark tit for tat retaliations between central banks. Call it race to the bottom, beggar thy neighbor or whatever, but QE can have some very nasty global implications.

Just finished a book last week, Currency Wars. I really enjoyed it, and it discusses QE (now and historically), the gold standard, Brenton Woods, and other issues pretty thoroughly.

I can't see how any organization that could plan for the greater society could avoid being taken over by the ruling elite. Look at the Tea Party and the Occupy movements.

I don't understand what you mean. Some states that were part of the ex-USSR are antagonistic to the USA and might want to hurt the US through monetary means. It is happening now and has been for some time. Have you read James Rickards' "Currency Wars"? However, some of the CIS countries are allies of the Empire and the rest are too weak economically to do much damage
