Yes for that kind you would use nylon strings (that's why you thought it looked like fishing line) and if you don't want to press down so much I suggest getting these I don't play classical guitar but I know those kind use nylon strings (so do not listen to people if they say to get regular steel strings) and like I said before take it to a shop and see if they can do any adjustments for you
