Work great but you have to make your own length.
I'm not sure if there's much in the difference that could be made but have you looked at getting a dock connector to 3.5mm jack converter (something like this), they're pretty inexpensive and I've read that you get a better audio source from the dock when compared to the jack

You have a couple of options:
A: Get something like a Fiio A5 which is simply an amp, you will of course be double amping but the output of a 6(s) is super good anyway and I don't have any problems using my Iphone 6 and A5 with a pair of HD650s.
B: You can use a combination of the lightning to 30 pin adaptor which has a built in dac, then you can use a 30pin lineout cable to connect to an amp of your choosing. You will pretty much have to use the camera adaptor to use a dac with anything that has the lightning connect.

There likely exceptions that are mfi certified like the Shure SHA900 or Oppo HA2. That being said these are expensive and no price range was specified so I can't offer much help on the best option for you. Flick me a pm with budget etc and any questions and I'd be happy to help.
