I love my Gearwrench stuff. I have the ratcheting wrenches and some socket stuff, the 120XP ratchets are amazing. I always grab them before my more expensive tools.

I do not totally understand your question. Pass through sockets are exactly what you are describing. unless you are talking about the bolt's head, in which case a simple ratcheting wrench would do the trick just fine.
