No, I don't. My skin is not very sensitive at all and can even put it full strength on my face (in small spots). What I do is have a little vial of some essential oils that are mostly full strength and after I put on rosehip, squalane or other oil, I will put some on my hands, rub them together & pat/spread them on my face really thinly over the existing oil layer. I could do something more careful, like mix it in advance, but that would take more time & planning.

I have about 3 vials of essential oil blends that I'm using for for different skin care concerns right now:

  • for elasticity: coffee bean oil, ylang ylang, blackberry, and vanilla (to make it smell like a real perfume mix), and I have some dill seed oil coming
  • for skin firming & conditioning: lavender, frankincense, rose geranium + some citrus (grapefruit peel, bitter orange peel, bergamot, neroli, etc)
  • and now I have added one for blemishes: tea tree oil, rosemary, lavender, thyme, plus whatever other skin conditioning antiseptic EO I can find

I think you can always mix it in your hand, tho. Like put tea tree or whatever other oil in your hand and then add about 5-10x times as much carrier oil, like rosehip or squalane to it.

I make cosmetics like an Italian mother cooks, & don't really measure anything (except for bakuchiol oil blends because that can burn your face like 100% retinol). It's all based on doing what I need that day as quickly as possible.

These 1/4 ounce vials are really handy if you wanted to mix up some facial essential oils in advance. They're also great for havingn travel size serums & lotions on trips or in a gym kit

I went to a Vo-Ag high school where we had an entomology class for river and stream management (yes, we went on fishing field trips!!). We would go to the local tail waters with a net like this and would stick it in the water down stream of us and kick around the rocks and let everything flow in to the net. Then we would put the insects in vials like these, which allowed us to study them. You can even fill them with formaldehyde and bring them with you to make a permanent collection. If you used the links to buy those items you’ll save a ton of money that you can spend on tying materials etc. That’s just my 2 cents.

Edit to add: this net is more suitable

Don't know what the cap is made of and haven't tried to PC one yet.

I use these small glass vials, though I'm not sure if they are the 1 or 2 dram, I think 2. They're perfect for storage and carrying and the mouth is almost exactly the size of the trench. Not 100% airtight, but better than baggies or medicine bottles for sure.
