I would consider those TV's more specialties and outliers. This is closer to modern top of the line, in a practical sense.

o7 another plasma owner ;0

I have the Panny VT65 P60VT60 as well and was wondering what to upgrade when it dies ... Didn't realize OLED was already viable. Thx 4 the info!

Are you referring to this LG Electronics OLED65B6P ?

Edit: Fixed Panny model. Whoops, was 60" not 65"!
Edit: Added link to LG OLED 65"

Definitly the price will drop. It should be at it's lowest around super bowl time, then drop gradually throughout the summer, and a large dip around black friday. You have more time (keep waiting) or money (buy today and enjoy the picture)?

Edit You can track amazon prices at camelcamelcamel.com and have it send you an email when it hits a certain price.

Oled would be 2-3 grand (depending on size) unless you're buying them the second they release, which is dumb.

Just because some oled somewhere costs 6k doesn't mean it costs 6k to get into the oled game.

Source: bought an LG B6 65" OLED 2 months ago for $3,000.

Edit: lol, downvoted for the truth? LG OLED with HDR, 55 inch for $2,000 / 65 inch for $3,500.
