I bought a Logitech G7 mouse used for $50, and it's been just as good as new so far. In terms of actual components, though, I agree with SN4T14, new is much better for peace of mind.

My Logitec G7 has a battery pack plus a replacement pack. When the mouse runs out you just switch it with the 2nd one in the charger. Had it for years and have never had to worry about batteries.

Since you used that mouse for such a long time I'd definitely reccomend staying with the same shape as well as saying with the same brand. The two mice that stand out to me for being very similar to the g7 is the g700s (pretty much a new g7) and the g500s, however the g500s seems to match the g7's shape more then the g700s, however the g700s retains the wireless ability like the g7. Overall I'd recommend getting the g500s as the shape is probably as close as you can get to the g7's shape. But if you want to remain having a wireless mouse get the g700s

I got this mouse for the same price I have to admit I was quite disappointed given the glowing reviews.
Honestly I felt my previous wireless mouse (Logitech G7) from a decade ago was just as good and had hotswap batteries.... It's kind of sad that nothing has improved. And I paid $71 for that 10 years ago.
