Kinda sorta. It's not a proper luffa/loofah, but that word has come to mean pretty much any bath scrubber, including those like the one pictured.

In a lot of places people don't even realize that natural luffas/loofahs exist.

Ugh, I have suffered from butt acne for pretty much my whole life. The dark bumps are probably scars or "zits" that are healing. From my understanding, the red bumps are caused by folliculitis, and they're actually irritated hair follicles.

But the good news is that I recently solved this problem for myself, so hopefully the solution will work for you, too. I use two things: a plant loofah and Eucerin Shower Oil. I exfoliate my butt every day with the loofah in gentle circles using the shower oil. The shower oil is a lot less harsh/drying than normal soap and makes your skin really soft. If I run out of shower oil and use regular body wash/soap, I get butt acne again within a few days.

Edit: Just to make you feel better, I'm 32 and only discovered this solution about a year ago. But I've been having sex since 16, and no man has ever made a negative comment about the red bumps on my ass. They're just happy to be getting laid. :)
