It's stupidly expensive, but I got something like this as a gift a while back and I love it:

http://www.amazon.com/Ergotron-45-245-026-Side-By-Side/dp/B0036FQ23A/ref=pd_sim_pc_8?ie=UTF8&refRID=0VNB6YD8NQVYER90979T

Clears up the space under your monitor for other things, lets you push your monitors out of the way and have a full sized desk for non computing things etc. It's fantastic.

It's this Ergotron. It's expensive, but it should last a lifetime and in my opinion is an absolute requirement for any dual monitor setup.

It's this one. Damn these are nice looking. --> http://store.hermanmiller.com/Products/Flo-Dual-Monitor-Support

I have been eyeballing these, which are well rated and only $280: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0036FQ23A

Its an Ergotron LX Side-by-Site. The Cinema Displays are just on the cusp of its maximum weight limit.

I can not recommend Ergotron LX Dual enough.

I have a very large desk and I'm running three 24' monitors on three separate Ergotron stands . Works awesome and I can position them all over. I guess you can also just get the dual stand . But either way, I say Ergotron all the way.

I bought this Ergotron mount a little while ago and even through it's far from the cheapest, the thing is insanely well built and can EASILY hold both of my 27" monitors. If you can afford it or it goes on a good sale I would jump on their stuff.

Alternatively.

I have this and I cannot recommend it enough if you're willing to spend the money.

The one pictured is this one. The quality is great, and I wouldn't say the price is that high.

There's one. It holds two 24" monitors, but I think it could hold one 27" horizontal and one 20" vertical.

Then there's a slightly more expensive one by Ergotron who never lets you down. It holds two 25" monitors but again, I believe it can hold a 27" monitor horizantally and one 20" monitor vertically.

On my website www.battlestationnetwork.com, I will soon go over some different mounts, what you should look out for when buying one, etc.

The stand is this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Duronic-Spring-Monitor-Bracket-85%C2%B0Swivel-Black/dp/B00HZ0GEXU/

It holds the two 27" monitors fine, though mine are fairly heavy (even compared to many other 27" monitors) so it's pushing it - I had to tighten the imbus that holds the tilt of the monitor to the max so that the monitors would stay in place (without tilting down), but after doing that it works great. I can even extend the arms a lot, for example when I want to watch a movie from the couch I disable one of the monitors and extend the arm with the other one towards the couch. Handy stuff.

If you're willing to spend more money than that this might work too http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ergotron-Dual-Side-inch-Monitor/dp/B0036FQ23A but probably not much better than the Duronic, and costs considerably more... also will apparently allow for less arm extension.

in any case, avoid cheap monitor arms as they will perform poorly. It's not worth it trying to save on this kind of stuff. If it's below £50 you should be cautious.

i have 2 of these at home holding up big ole 27" Aurias and they work great and have a huge range of placement with the taller base pole. https://www.amazon.com/Desk-Mount-LCD-Tall-Pole/dp/B00689HXI4/ref=sr_1_4?

i briefly had 1 holding up a 34" LG widescreen too and it worked perfectly for that too.

i also have this one at work, now holding up the 34" LG and another 27" Auria. again, works great, holds the weight perfectly and provides great range. https://www.amazon.com/Ergotron-ERG45245026-Dual-Side-By-Side-Arm/dp/B0036FQ23A/ref=sr_1_3?

theyre more expensive than the amazon basics and monoprice, but i know they work awesomely and are worth it to me at least. maybe somebody who has experienced both can comment on how they compare as the price gap is pretty big.
