There are adaptors and similar controllers for Megadrive / Genesis. No idea how we'll either work with a Raspberry Pi though.

You can use the 2.4ghz version of this controller wirelessly with a PC, but you need a genesis controller to PC adapter to use the receiver it comes with - I've used this one with this controller and can confirm it works: https://www.amazon.com/Mayflash-Drive-Genesis-Controller-Adapter/dp/B00QRZ1HVS

My suggestion would be to use a Genesis to USB device with original controllers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QRZ1HVS but I admit I haven't tried it myself yet

My favorite amiga joystick is "The Arcade".

It only has one button and works with almost any amiga game as far as I know.
