I have a set of these for random bits & sockets and they're great for helping with the often small and near invisible markings they come with. The foil is pretty sturdy so they'll take a bit of abuse and you don't need to buy any new tools, just slap them right on the ones he has now. Master set runs about $15. Should have everything he needs from sockets to insert bits
