I've got a set of ReoLink cameras. They're pretty easy to work with, and they're relatively cheap. My 4-camera system only ran me $400. They're not top-of-the-line, but as you can see, they get the job done. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H3QVZQ2

Either of those will need a power cable run to each camera. The longer the power runs are, the more you should go with the 2nd option. It is surprising how long and how much a hassle pulling the cables can be. Do you have access via an attic to the eaves?

I tend to agree, that if possible you should look at returning this and going with a wired POE based camera system. You pull just as much wire and the camera quality will be better. I've been using this Reolink system and have been pretty happy with it. I'm guessing you should be able to connect it to Smarthings as it has ONVIF and RTSP.
