That's an intonation issue which is not adjustable on acoustics, without replacing or reshaping the bridge saddle.

Also, note that different string gauges will give varying intonations. If you restring with lower or higher tension strings than what the saddle is cut for, it will likely lead to intonation problems. You might try using the same strings that the manufacturer shipped the guitar with.

Man, I don't know. But I prefer the sound of slightly dead, or at least worn, strings. I hate the way new strings sound.

In fact, I just bought a Cordoba C7 from guitar center a couple days ago. I grabbed it off the wall and played and as soon as I started I knew that I had to have it. I think that sometimes the stars align with these mass-produced guitars and everything is just right. Regardless, that thing had been hanging on the wall for who knows how long, and the strings look relatively worn. But it sounds so good. Still has such a great bass response and resonance. I'm actually afraid to put new strings on it lol.

I bought a Taylor Academy 12-N like 3 months ago (lol) and I'm probably going to get rid of it. I thought it was awesome and now it honestly pales in comparison to this Cordoba. And they're both $500 guitars. If I didn't know any better, I'd think the Cordoba cost a grand more or, easily. It sounds that good.

Back to strings - maybe you should try a different manufacturer? This Cordoba C7 came strung with Savarez 500CJ and I immediately bought two new sets on Amazon. Ironically, I don't feel like my guitar gets a good tone until two weeks or so after the strings have been more or less fully stretched and don't have that "new string sound" anymore.
