Thanks for the response guys. That fan looks great, but it unfortunately negates the whole stealth thing I'm going for. What do you guys think of this? Also, while the feedback on fans is both needed and appreciated, I also am still hoping to get some feed back on two exhaust ports vs one.

So I’m a first time grower and always obsessed with the idea of a pc case style grow. But I decided this would be a better idea. The bucket is a 7 gallon bucket with a sealing lid. I took a lamp toggle switch lighbulb holder and put a black magic led growlight in it drilled a hole in the lid and it was a tight fit. Then I siliconed around it. My plan is to use these 3000 rpm fans https://www.amazon.com/Scythe-DFS123812H-3000-Ultra-Kaze-120mm/dp/B001JKNMBE
And mount 2 for intake and one for exhaust using the hi tech mounts for 120mm fanshttps://www.hightech3d.com/product-page/pc-fan-to-5-gallon-bucket-adapter
And the carbon scrubber attachment they sell too.
Not to sure what to use for a strain. I want something that has really low Oder and is small. Not too concerned about a big yield as this is a trial run for me. I’m also thinking about trying to grow basil in there as a trial run to see if I properly filter the smell and if the whole thing works and whatnot. Please poke holes in my plan. Thanks (:

Here's the version I'm using (just set it up a few minutes ago)

Here's the PSU I'm using

And I replaced the stock fan with this one Although it's not exactly an easy swap because the plugs are different, I just connected the fan directly to the PSU. Once I clean everything up in the next day or so, I'll post pics.

I planned on using the Zenminer Controller, but I still haven't gotten it yet.

sure they are. or at least fans with any mm range that run on 12v will also probably have 12v in their name.

anyhow, amazon 12v fan and that should give plenty of options. I'd recommend one of those computer fans. Not the one that plugs in to the 12v outlet lol.

I've had one of these on my coleman for a while. It sometimes decides to be a freezer. And haven't had any issues with lost appendages from putting hand in fan since I stuck the fridge into the right bottom compartment on the cascadia.

I have 4 of these on my case. Two of which are attached to my H60's Radiator. Rest are push pull for my R9 290X (Sapphire Tri-X). Seriously fuck Corsair's 540 the only thing that I hate about this case is the fact the GPU blows down on both the HDD's which doesn't leave me much room to cool the GPU.

I need to cool that card with Liquid Cooling but I don't have a way of doing it with Air Cooling right now

A - Under Vol-ting.

B - Under Clocking.

C - Have you tried also going to the "Power Options" in the "Control Panel" and choose "Power Saver"?

D - Get a better PC case with a good ventilation system!

E - Get better Vents! Recommend Ultrakaze 120mm ~3000rpm! Edit: If you don't mind the noise!? :)

I was on mobile before.

I'm using the silverstone fan at full power which is overkill, but I have it behind a fan filter and a decorative front grill, so both the airflow and noise are reduced substantially.

Yeah, most 120mm pc fans don't have enough static pressure to run any significant amount of air through a carbon filter. CFM doesn't mean much unless you have static pressure behind it to back it up. You could either opt for an inline fan like this for about $70 which would be more than enough for your setup, or you could try subbing out your pc fans for a couple of these bad boys which run ~$15 apiece but offer an impressive 133 CFM while offering higher static pressure ratings than any other 120mm pc fans I've seen with the same price/dB rating.
