I bought this one recently. Its a little expensive, but its an official one made for xbox one by seagate, so decided to spend the extra money to get it as i had gift cards i needed to use anyway.
If you want one thats much cheaper that should work just as good, get this one:

i’m on a 1X too, i upgraded from a launch XB1 and was pleased with the quicker feels, but my husband is on a 1S and i got him a ssd external for xmas last year. his load times were so much faster than mine on the 1X (or at least they seemed that way!) so i picked up a Seagate 500gb game drive, it was on sale for like 80-some and since i would only really need it for D2 anyway, 500gb is plenty of space for that. it plugs into the back of the xbox, instant format, took about five minutes to transfer D2 and all the expansions over and it’s been lightning fast ever since :3

Also a neat option (what I ended up doing)... upgraded SSD in my workstation, picked up an enclosure for $15, plugged it in, win-win. Works like a charm (and it's even tax-deductible! ; )
Edit: there’s actually a seagate SSD on amazon that looks about as expensive as the Samsung T5.
