The results have been amazing, I'm very pleased and haven't had any issues. You will need to reverse the polarity of the plugs though.

I’ve had them for a few month now they are bright and look good, the only down side is they only seemed to really light up the inner halo and not the outermost. I was disappointed at first but it has grown on me and I enjoy it now it looks like a single set of eyes staring you down.

The driving lights were also from [Amazon] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N5BAWYK/) around $24. That really made the difference with the driving lights matching more with the headlights.
I'm driving an '11 e90 n55 lci as well. Just got these guys to get rid of that awful yellow halo. 10 minute job if you have small enough hands. I have fat hands so it took me longer lol. $25
