Pepper spray up to 2.5 oz is legal. All the bear spray canisters I've seen are larger than that, which I think triggers Amazon to block shipping here. I tried buying about 6 different brands and finally found one they don't block:

I believe they may allow it because the company registered it with the state, at least that's what I've read allows legal ship.

My understanding is it's a felony if you used it against a human predator, but I think I'll be good if carrying while walking the dog in coyote country to mitigate an animal attack.
