About 10 years ago I found a Wahl Home Pro at a thrift store. It needed a lot of cleaning, oiling, and a couple of parts. After that, I've been using it to trim my hair, beard, mustache, and eyebrows for the past 10 years. If my current one was lost or stolen, I'd probably buy this one.
I got this trimmer. It's decent but my beard is over an inch in length so I ordered a Wahl Elite Pro here. Hopefully it will work out well.
I see that there is a Philips Norelco All-in-one device. Frankly, I'd rather have a great shaver and a great clipper instead of one good combo.

I trim my beard/mustache with the shortest edge guard and then shave my neck with a regular razor.
I have the Wahl Clipper Elite Pro High-Performance Home. I opted for the plug in rather than a wireless one, due to performance. I've had it just over a year and I love it. I cut my hair for the first time yesterday. I just bought the Wahl Elite Pro High Performance Haircut Kit. It's actually $45 dollars, but I got it because it seemed to have everything I might need: comb, scissors, guards, even one of those cape thingies (which I don't bother using since I just pop in the shower after anyways).
After having used it, I'm pretty happy with it. I also have no idea what I'm doing, so I guess take that with a grain of salt :) But the clippers have a lifetime warranty and the blades have a 5 year. I figured for $45 it would pay for itself after ~9 months, so why not.

First thing I've found that can trim my beard after two weeks. Cuts through it like a hot knife through butter.

Find a nice barber shop with a nice barber. Explain your point and, most likely, he/she will emphasise with you and give you a 15-min buzz-cut for the same price as a man's hair cut.

Shit. If I lived near you I'd cut your hair for fucking free. That take literally 15 minutes to do.
Alternatively, get a nice trimmer from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Performance-Clippers-stainless-Professionals-79602/dp/B00UKVNSLC/ref=sxin_4_osp62-2e005ed8_cov) and learn to trim your hair yourself (what I do). There are some good tutorials (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abgC8dC5a18) out there and with practice you can save tons of $$$/month.

I have a very think beard I just tackled with it, and holy shit it cut through my jungle like butter. Definitely recommend it for the upgraded power alone.
