I have one of these. It's a fairly awesome usb 3.0 sd card reader. Without doing any significant in-depth analysis, I notice that I generally offload my full memory cards in about 13 minutes.

If my math is right, that would be an average sustained transfer speed of 84.02MiB/s to my hard drives. So, unless you are using the faster cards, you probably won't notice much of a difference. For $9 shipped (amazon prime), why the hell not :p. That device has my recommendation.

I just bought this Western Digital Caviar Black 2 TB off Amazon for $175CDN last Night. It is now $199.99+Shipping. I thought it was a pretty decent deal considering 1 TB was running around $120 everywhere I saw.

That wi-fi card is only b/g...

WD Green is a very slow hard drive and you will not like it. You have your SSD for boot, but your games are not going to open very quickly from that 5400rpm drive. Try Blue or (even better) Black.

You can get the 2GB video card for about the price, if you shop around. And there isn't much need for an AX series power supply in this build. You can save over $100 buy getting a nice XFX unit (a re-branded Seasonic).

An ASRock Extreme3 Gen3 will provide you more features for less, such as PCIe 3.0 and more/faster video card slots.

That Black drive is also out of stock at that site but can be found at. Amazon.ca for about $175.

I'd also recommend a Crucial M4 instead, because of its high build quality and SATA III speeds.

I'm actually using the SSD as two separate boot drives, and how are these drives? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004CSIG1G/?tag=pcpapi-20

Ok. I needed a new hard drive for a while since mine's been full. I just bought this one. I ain't even mad. Just curious though, why do you think it failed? It's only been 3 years.

200TB of drives for $25,900.

Say 8 drives per server that needs 15 servers say at $1000 each server so another $15,000. So about $41,000 Ignoring software requirements. I could get a lot of other development done for the difference between this price and $1,000,000.

>With hard drive space as cheap as it is, you can buy 1,000 gigs for cheap

You haven't bought a HDD recently. Flooding in Asia has inflated prices by up to 200% for the next few years. This graph shows inflation on a 1tb Western Digital Caviar drive and this graph shows the inflation for the 2tb version of that drive.
