It took me a few times to find the right spot. I have it on the flat of the dashboard just to the left of the center storage area.
I’d recommend that you place the metallic part that sticks on the phone on the charging base so it helps align better to the phone.
It still holds through a thin case.

Do you use a magnetic car mount ? I'm wondering if I get one that the metal plate will block the wireless charging on Pixel stand or any other. So I bought this one hoping it will work !
