they work great in the data center
The app is in the instructions. Just set your motherboard to boot when AC power is on and install this little device on each rig.

It can do about 15 amps, so 1500w would be safe. If something happens to a rig, just shut the power off, wait 20 seconds and boot everything back up. Using remote desktop you can get everything up and running all from your phone. Some people automate on startup but I found that to be a pain while tweaking power usage.
Point is...this is a much better solution than some software app that gives numbers that may not reflect actual usage.
