One benefit to not having airbags is that there are lots of aftermarket steering wheels you can get. I liked the look of this one, but there are tons more. You would also need the GM adapter, Grant part #3196 link.

I had to use both a steering wheel puller and a lock plate puller. I followed the instructions in the kit and it worked well. Here are photos of the replacement process if you need something to reference.



Oh and when you compress the lock plate make sure that you don't break the snap ring keeping the spring compressed. It's a pain to slide out of the groove, and I almost broke it.

Only 119 on amazon!!! I was nervous to buy it but so many 5 star ratings. Some say it's too slippery which I haven't found but one guy got one and wrapped it in leather so now he has a leather wrapped 1 lb steering wheel, which is still pretty cool
