Garlic grinder. Dishwasher safe, easy to use, easy to clean, damn near indestructible. I highly recommend it.

Garlic peeler. Yeah sounds incredibly inane, but this stupid thing works so frickin' well.

Garlic peeling tubes are also great, and incredibly cheap

Put it inside and roll it between your hands for a second or two. The friction of the rubber takes the skin off and leaves the clove

I put garlic in just about everything, but hatted having to dice it up so I used to buy the big jars (I'm talking the 32 ouncers) of pre-diced garlec. Well, a while back, I found this thing and a garlic peeler, and I'll never buy a pre-diced jar again. With these two items, I have fresh garlic in barley a few seconds more that it would take to get the jar out of the fridge and measure it out and put the jar back in the fridge. With how cheep a bulb of garlic is, it's almost costless to add a couple of cloves to anything.

Works like a charm, just keep the garlic and the peeler dry when you use it.

That is really cool. It wasn't me, but I hope it helped to cheer you up :)

I, too, received something in the mail that wasn't on my wishlist. I didn't even know what it was when I opened it. After some research I found out it was this. I still don't know who sent it but my phone number was also on the package.

Have you tried a garlic peeler? It’s a silicone tube and you roll the garlic around in it. Like this one:

If you love garlic, you need one of these.

u/MELBOT87 · 2 pointsr/AskCulinary

Just buy one of these on the cheap. Garlic troubles are over.

u/fuzychiapet · 2 pointsr/videos

I use this thing. Works great, only takes a few seconds, and no vigorous shaking required.

Also, how many people own two large metal bowls of equal size? Not me..

I have one small rubber roll (it came free with Garlic press). You just put garlic in it and roll it on the kitchen platform and it is peeled super easily. I am in US so I got it from amazon here but you can check aliexpress etc and it may have it. Here is the link..

I always found this rubber tube thing to work the best:

It's a bitch to clean though.

u/audscias · 2 pointsr/worldnews

Never mind me, I'm just finding out that people actually does use dry peeled garlic for cooking. It doesn't taste even half as good, plus fresh garlic is cheap as dirt (cheaper than the peeled one for sure) and propperly stored can last you a looong time. If tou still feel that peeling it is a chore just get one of these, you get a perfectly peeled clove in a few seconds.

My dad gave me one of these a while back. I wouldn't have bought it for myself, but it does a great job.

u/stonewalled87 · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Because I hate peeling garlic this would be perfect for me.

My mom has one of these. I thought they were a joke. I used one. It must be witchcraft.

KaNikki got a job! Fuck yeah!
Congrats on getting a job! Lets see a customer experience.... I once had a customer who was a foster parent, and she came into the clothing store I was working at, and was the sweetest most awesome person ever, although it was clear that she really spent most of her money on taking care of the fosters, I was so happy to be able to get her into some clothes that fit and were not stained/torn!

Get this! I peel a bunch of cloves at one time just by rolling them around in this for a few seconds. Changed my life.

u/ladyllana · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon
  1. I have a couple options here, and I know I don't have to justify it, but this one is somewhat funny. This belt would be helpful. I have had the same belt since 7th grade, and my mother mocks me endlessly over it. I know I could just get a new belt, but I like the one I have because the belt buckle doesn't stick out a bunch. That's why I like the one that I linked. (:

But, for something smaller, these peelers because I am wasting a ton of cucumber and potato with my lack of knife skills.

I took a sip of something poison, but I'll hold on tight

Thank you for the contest! (:

That's a name brand one. Amazon has a similar one for $5 and free shipping on orders over $35.

u/thibedeauxmarxy · 1 pointr/Cooking

I have a little rubber tube thing that I put the cloves in, roll it around a couple times, then dump them out. Voila, peeled.

Here is a link to a similar one.

u/stinkpalm · 1 pointr/pics

I have one of these.

And they rock.

u/AbsolutelyNormal · -2 pointsr/videos

For those that don't need a whole head of garlic, get one of these. http://www.amazon.com/Zak-Designs-E-Z-Rol-Garlic-Peeler/dp/B0006GSP6O

They're magic.

u/Boomer8450 · -3 pointsr/AskCulinary

Just get a couple of these

And maybe one of these
