I wonder if she'd like a riding stroller - something like this where she's not actually being made to sit and you're not being made to move at a glacial pace?

u/Fancifulkitties 路 3 pointsr/beyondthebump

I had the Nuna Pipa with baby 1, and the Mesa with baby 2. Also had the Vista.

They are all the wrong answers. 馃槶

You want the Doona. It鈥檚 a car seat with wheels on it. It鈥檚 magical. I had so much jealousy when a mom friend showed up with one of these. I wish I鈥檇 known!! If wasn鈥檛 so close to being out of the bucket when I saw it I would have burned another $500 to get it.

Also have the vista. It rocked as a single and sucks balls as a double. The 2 seats don鈥檛 really fit that well and you don鈥檛 have good options on arrangements for them. The balance is super weird with that lower seat on so it鈥檚 super hard to turn. I hate it. I bought this much cheaper one and haven鈥檛 touched my vista since. If you鈥檙e set on a higher end stroller I鈥檇 look at the city mini (or whichever the double is) because it can be arranged in a more logical way. Or if you鈥檙e planning on jogging get a nice jogging stroller. I鈥檓 so bitter than my vista didn鈥檛 work out. I spent $$$$ tricking it out as a double.

My kids are exactly 2.5 years apart btw. Joovy is a way better combo for them because my daughter wants up and down and the bench seat/stand option is really perfect for her.

(The snoo on the other hand is the best big $ item I bought. It was worth every damn penny)

We got this sit-stand stroller for my newborn and toddler (25 months apart). My toddler loves it! And no complaints from the newborn yet either.

My toddler is only 26 lbs, but the max child weight for this stroller is 90 lbs.

I personally love the double strollers from contours: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J889IBQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-N40Ab3DH2Q76
They're on the pricey side but definitely worth it I had one for my first 2 (my oldest was like 6 months away from being 4 when I had my second) and plan on getting another one once our 3rd arrives in 2 months even though my youngest is 4 already we prefer keeping the stroller handy for her seeing as she will complain after walking a little while that her legs hurt and that she's tired and aside from a bit of trouble getting into stores with non automatic doors when it's just you and the kiddos it was a real life saver for trips anywhere with both kids

We have the "J is for Jeep" double stroller. It's only like $75 at amazon and is decently reviewed. We love it so far, and you can't beat that price.

Here it is at amazon:

We got this front and back one and I think it is very easy to push and maneuver still a bit long but I like it.

10 months? Eek. Side-by-side. B.O.B. is awesome.

I have 4 & 1, love my Joovy Sit & Stand.

Congrats, papa!!

This is what we used and we loved it. Joovy has a snap n to stroller with a third seat. I recently met a lady with twins and an older toddler and she swore by this thing. Man, the i3 has a much larger boot than I expected it to. I'll see if I can find a used 94AH model! Thanks for a great suggestion.

I think that as soon as they outgrow the size 0+ baby seat, I'll be moving on to a more compact car. I'm currently leaning towards this one, but if you have a suggestion, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks for the input!

We bought this double specifically for Disney with our two little kids. It was perfect. Not expensive and not as big as some of the joggers out there, so it fit well in our car. We were able to gate check it at the airport too.

My only advice is the stroller has to be folded to get on Disney Transportation. All of them do. So pack everything in a backpack that you can just pull it out of the bottom bin when you need to get on a Disney bus. My kids napped in it. It maneuvered really well too.

Great stroller, we are taking it again to Disney in April.

I've got this one for my twins. It's light and has good storage. We love it.

I couldn't find anything that you were looking for, but there are plenty of tandem jogging strollers out there with side-by-side options available. They are a little harder to snap 2 carseats in that way.

If you open your options to having 2 wheels on the front, the Contours Options Elite Tandem Stroller has lots of positive reviews. I actually wanted this one, but we settled on an In-Step tandem jogging stroller for when I want one with actual wheels whenever we go to parks and stuff with different terrains. And an graco double stroller for when we are doing things like shopping with narrow aisles.

This is the one we have (well, an older version)

http://www.amazon.com/Contours-Options-Tandem-Stroller-Velvet/dp/B00M9ZR8XQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1450470466&sr=8-1

It is perfect for our needs and maybe will the bill for you: many positions for the babies, either in regular seats or car seats, and inline. The newer version appears to be shorter than my old version, which looks nice. Universal car seat adapters. No third seat, but they do sell universal gliding boards that attach at the back. My singleton just turned 3 before the twins were born, and had been forced to start walking on errands early on in my pregnancy because I couldn't lift him into strollers or carts any more. The contours stroller, at least my version, has a toddler handle on either side and he holds onto it and walks. We do 95% of the household errands with myself and the three kids, all under age 4. The basket is generous underneath, but I also ordered these hooks for the handlebars, and I attach a store's hand basket to them when shopping: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MXP3SM/ref=sr_rp_1?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&ie=UTF8&qid=1450470916&sr=sr-1&keywords=Stroller+hooks

Good luck!

The "Kinderwagon Hop" is awesome. It's a tandem twin stroller, not side-by side. Its not good for newborns since they need to be able to have some sitting ability. But, we get complements and questions everywhere we go with it and LOVE it. Our toddler just walks next to us with it, but we toyed with getting the "surfboard" attachment (forget the name) they sell for just about any stroller.

I've taken my kids when they were 2 years old and 4 months old on a flight, but with my husband. I go on a LOT of road trips solo with my kids kids always have to take a ferry. I take our double stroller (also city select) with the carseat for the 4 month old. I had him on my lap but I would definitely just strap the carseat into the plane if given the opportunity! Anything to contain him! (but he likes the carseat). If your baby is in the ergo you might find it difficult to have to deal with your toddler, a carseat just gives you an extra opportunity for putting baby down. My biggest advice though is to just fully accept everything is going to take longer than you want. Security check takes longer, boarding takes longer but just roll with it!

If you're looking for a light weight double stroller, I can not recomend enough the Joovy caboose. Best $100 I have ever spent. It comes with a universal carseat bar too. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01BMAW0GS/ref=dp_ob_neva_mobile

InStep Safari. I guess it's only $176 on Amazon but I still feel like I got a good deal. We used it this morning and it was perfect!

u/PermanentDaylight 路 1 pointr/Parenting

The Joovy Big Caboose is a triple stroller. It鈥檚 a sit and stand, but you can also get a third seat if your kids aren鈥檛 old enough to use the bench seat yet. I think you can only use it with two infant car seats though, so at least one of your kids will need to sit on the stroller seat.

Also, your twins might not be in the infant car seats much longer. We have a Graco seat, not Chicco, but all of our kids have gotten too long for it well before they reached the weight limit, sometime within a couple of months after turning one year old.

Congratulations! And good luck

I was checking out stroller sizes, looks like triple seaters are out but this quad is in.

We got the Jeep scout stroller as a easy to carry around stroller. Its price was what won me over, because even though it seemed ridiculously expensive for a cheap stroller, it was pretty much the cheapest I could find.

It fits through regular doorways and folds up fairly compactly, so that's a plus. It's not like one-handed fold down or anything, but it gets the job done.

u/mamallama 路 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

here's an armband phone holder thing for holding my phone with my music and run mapping program going. this would make my running experience much better.

and here is my most ridiculous fitness item, haha, just for laughs a double jogger stroller for taking my kids on runs with me, so i don't have to wait til dad gets home. i'm saving gift cards towards this and a kitchenaid.

thanks for hosting a contest, you're amazingly fantastic!!

u/RoarEatSleep 路 1 pointr/beyondthebump

Agreed you should probably move to an umbrella at this point.

I have a McClaren that I like, but I think in that price range they鈥檙e all pretty similar.

If you鈥檙e considering a second baby in the future you might also look at the Joovy Caboose.. I finally got one after being jealous of it for ages and I love it. I take just the baby (10 months) out in it all the time, but my older loves it too and it鈥檚 got a pretty decent basket when she鈥檚 not riding in it. Plus it鈥檚 super lightweight and easy to fold. Sort of like a much bigger umbrella stroller. I love it and I鈥檓 selling our UppaBaby because I can鈥檛 think when I鈥檇 ever want to use it again.

u/happywifelife_ 路 1 pointr/parentsofmultiples

My dream stroller is an Indie Twin, but I can鈥檛 fathom spending more money on a stroller than we do to rent our 3br/2ba home. Plus, the twins aren鈥檛 likely going to want to sit beside each other as they get bigger. I imagine many arguments will ensue like that. Mine are only 15 months though, so I don鈥檛 really know.

We actually skipped the infant car seats to avoid the extra costs, as well as to avoid buying a frame stroller and then eventually a stroller with seats. We opted for convertible car seats from the get-go, and I purchased a stroller from Amazon that was infant-compatible. Apparently it鈥檚 showing unavailable, but I鈥檓 sure there are other places ti purchase it from.

I guess the obvious things to consider is: your vehicle鈥檚 trunk space, how much the stroller weighs, what kind of terrain you will need wheels for, and weight limits.

u/kylephoto760 路 1 pointr/parentsofmultiples

I mentioned it elsewhere, but for ours we鈥檝e used the Chicco Cortina Together stroller with the Keyfit car seats.

My only complaint is that the kid in front can鈥檛 recline, but overall we鈥檝e been happy with it.

We also use a double umbrella stroller since the Cortina is a pain in the ass to get in and out of my Camry.
