Crafty cleaners actually seem cheaper though. Also you probably want to make sure you get soft bristled ones as hard bristled ones can be a little stabby from what I've heard (they have actual metal bristles)
Pipe cleaners... There are all kinds on amazon.
Pour a small amount of alcohol into it and shake it back and forth. You'll need to plug or cover the ends so it doesn't just spill out. Keep it clean using a lab test tube brush or similar in future. Or actual pipe cleaners - which are called pipe cleaners because they're intended to be used to clean a pipe (as in tobacco pipes).

Pro tip: Use a small metal poker (I use the one on my pipe tool) to press the middle of the screen into the whole at the bottom of your bowl/slide/ect. It will perfectly contour to the shape of whatever your putting it in unless you're using one of those weird slides that are squared off on the bottom. Happy smoking!

Last week I restored a Caminetto KS pipe from the late 70s which is pretty stubborn. I think you may need to carry out salt-alcohol treatment twice. Smoke shops, craft stores, gun shops, Walmart, Amazon and such. Colorful and/or sparkly pipe cleaners are more for crafts and might cost more. Look for cheap fuzzy white pipe cleaners.
I'm still working through a huge pack of 12" pipe cleaners I bought years ago. Handy to have around. I cut them in half so I have twice as many.
Edit to add this link of some on Amazon and another link. These have stiff bristles and are made more for cleaning instead of crafts.

Soaked in iso is what I use, they have hard plastic bristles in with the more securely attached cotton bristles (compared to craft store type) to really clean out pipes. You can probably buy appropriate ones locally if you have a tobacconist/tobacco shop around you.
