Water drops are so loud because the surface tension is really strong. If you break that tension with a pointy object, the droplet loses most of the loudness. Toothpicks work wonders.

Remove the toothpicks from your container and set them aside.
Cut or drill several weep holes on the side of the container along the bottom-most edge (don't drill holes on the bottom of the container or the toothpicks will fall out). They should be fairly large holes (1/8" - 1/4") because this will let the water escape.
Using a marker, mark where the drips are hitting on your AC, and remove the AC (if needed).
Using glue or 2-sided tape (something that will last in outdoor weather), affix the toothpick container onto your air-conditioner above where the drips were hitting. Alternatively, you can also screw the container to the AC, as long as it won't damage the AC.
Pack the toothpicks back in the container, and be sure their pointed ends are up towards the opening. Replace the AC (if you needed to remove it earlier).

It was for my geology lab, we were making lattices. The toothpicks were kind of like these , I️ dunno the exact brand
I mean you got the main stuff. I fiddled around a lot with my EDC for the first two years after learning about EDC, and then.... kinda just settled into what I got.
But some ideas...
A pick kit. Gotta learn how to use it, of course, but can come in handy. And you need a kit to start learning. Also local laws apply etc. Sparrows and Southord are commonly recommended.
A fresnel lens. Hey, can come in handy. Cheap.
Key dangler. Dangle your keys from your belt into the upper quadrant of whatever pocket you keep them in. Keeps it neat, keeps it secure, and leaves more room in your pocket. Also cheap. Even better if you have a push button start vehicle and keyless entry. Along with a keypad front door of my house, I just need to have my keys on me; I don't actually have to ever remove them in the course of the day.
Watch. I personally do the smart watch thing, but G shocks, Timex Weekender, citizen eco drive are common EDC recommendations.

Great for on the go and at my desk for a quick “brush” but there aren’t many in a pack so I try to use no more than 1 of these per day. I got mine at Target but probably would get a better deal on Amazon.
Samples of these came in my “kit” from my ortho and I ordered a stock on amazon. I use these at nigh and use my waterpik in the morning.
I let my dentist and ortho know I use these (I prefer them to any other mouth guard I’ve tried) and they ok’d them with braces since they aren’t the heat & mold kind. I use them for a little longer than the box recommends (3 days) but toss them when they get gross.
I keep seeing people saying they can’t keep wax on. I love this wax (I got 2 kinds, no flavor and mint) because it’s perforated and easy to size out. Just roll in your fingers before applying otherwise it’s not going to stick. The mint is nice and fresh! I am using this a lot while my cheeks are getting used to poking metal but always remove before eating or brushing!
Do not use these too aggressively, you don’t want to damage your braces! But after a meal these have been a lifesaver for me. I gently (and hopefully discretely) get food unstuck. I got minty ones and keep a pack in jackets, backpack, car... I’m serious when I say lifesaver!
This is a bigger debate than getting wax to stick! My ortho did tell me that sugar free gum is allowed but not too much and don’t keep chewing it if it dissolves. Consult your ortho if you’re not sure. I was surprised to find that almost all gum is sugar free. Not all but most. I was searching all over for “SUGAR FREE” specifically and it was right at the register! I might get the 15 pack on Amazon though.
Honestly I don’t use these that often but once and a while it’s nice to clean every nook and cranny. I have to force myself to floss every day so this isn’t something I use often. They are more gentle than toothpicks but food gets caught in the tiny bristles and it turns into a mess. I picked up a small pack at Target.
The company has a "history of tea tree oil" on their web site that's pretty interesting. You could make your own I guess. I'm just lazy. The only reason I went with these is because I found them on Amazon and they shipped right to my front door. I even picked up a nice steel holder to put my toothpicks in. I like the taste of the tea tree oil. It helps freshen your breath and keeps your mind off smoking.
