I definitely understand not wanting to get something that he is going to grow out of, but if he’s going to be in the car a lot in the future it might be good to get him used to being harnessed while he’s young. Car seat covers like this also make things a little safer. Have fun with the little man!

That way, we only need to have the one towel to dry her off after the dog park. Maybe a soft brush would help knock the worst of the mud off before getting in the car. A towel doesn't seem to do much for muddy paws, but at least the seat cover contains it.

My dogs are pretty calm in the car, but that doesn't mean I want hair and scratches everywhere haha. I'm actually thinking of looking for something that goes over the rear door interior as well. This car is going to be my baby! lol

It's listed for $35 now but honestly I'd pay $50 for it. It survived our trip and then the washing machine, and kept them from getting in the front seat.
