I did the exact same thing for my my now 6 year old (so 4 years and still going strong).
Lamp stays pink (8% red, 1% blue) all night, turns yellow when she can wake up and play in her room (6:30am), and green when she can come get us (7:30am).

They are installed into two clip-on lamps which are clipped onto the monitor mount. I also have two more of these bulbs in the ceiling light, which you can't see in these pictures

No lie, one of the best things you can get for your apartment is a bluetooth light bulb. I've had mine for a few years now and its always a conversation starter, mood setter, and whatever you can think of. They are a bit pricy for a light bulb, but if you are replacing an incandescent bulb with an LED one it will pay for itself over the life of the bulb.

None of the lights above require wifi.
Lutron makes switches and plugs that you can control with the harmony hub. If the link you posted is what you have then that is the only HUB you need. Look at the Lutron Caseta. Also you can go a different direction and get the flux bulb from Amazon. You can control it with you smart phone and although it does colors it can also make adequate white light for a lamp. Only $30 and I really like it. The link is for a Bluetooth one like mine but they also have a wifi one.

Not my Kitchen either. I'm not surprised I don't share the same tastes with a stranger. I'm curious if the color of that light can be changed to whatever fits the mood. But seeing as how I've never met OP, I bet he isn't offended that I might have different tastes.
