Save yourself $30 by buying a tool with identical functionality from a well-established brand. The only real difference is that Gerber's doesn't have an LED, but with the $30 in you're saving, you could buy 45 LED keychains instead.

I keep a Gerber Shard .

Maybe not as effective as a kitty, but it also doesn’t have the stigma of being intended as a weapon. The screwdriver is pretty sharp (stick ‘me with the pointy end 😉), and the pry tool means I don’t break my nails on stuff anymore!

I use this multitool that I keep on my keys. Never not been able to get one open. Haven't bent it yet, but it's cheap enough that it can be replaced if something does eventually happen to it. Super useful for the bottle opener and makeshift screwdriver too.
