It works well as long as you don't want to go too big on the monitors. I run 3 24", an old junky one for monitoring software, a 144hz for games, and a decent one for watching movies. Anything 4K I use the TV.
No complaints on the stand, moves enough, holds still and feels solid.
I don't recall the brand (or model), but I got this specific mount a while back while visiting Taiwan.

Yea, I'm gonna get a triple-monitor stand since I'd like one either above me or to my side. I'd love to do it, but does it matter that the monitors are attached to a base? I'm just wondering if that would be an issue as they're all individual ones.

I used a cheap triple mount from Amazon. It's ok, not the most sturdy but it gets the job done. You can pretty much angle the monitors anyway you want. It's pretty much like this one

If you happen to be located in or around Kansas City I have a 3 monitor desk stand I could give you that would take care of your bottom 3. It looks kind of like this one. It's just sitting in my basement taking up space. Too big to ship though.
