Try Rain-X
Been using this for years and often find that I don't need my wipers at all.
I have to wonder whether Rain-X would repel food items like this. I think that I need to test this out.
Rain-X Anti-Fog prevents windows from fogging up. While you're at it, Rain-X on the outside, keeps the glass free of excess water; I don't use my wipers in heavy rain or at highways speeds.
Nope, I was using the original RainX. The bottled, non spray one: https://smile.amazon.com/Rain-X-800002243-Glass-Treatment-oz/dp/B0000AXNMO/
Rain X's first and biggest product is an oil that you wipe onto the glass that does this. That's all any of these are, a type of oil that doesn't allow water tension to build up on the glass.

Yes, buy RainX and apply it to the exterior windows. Side note, it's fun to see the droplets fly off the windows.

Rain-X, my dude. It takes a little work to apply but it's so worth it. Don't get the spray stuff or the washer fluid additive. They don't work nearly as well as this stuff does. Any auto parts place should carry it.
