Got it out. I ended up using a T-7 bit from a Harbor Freight torx key set instead of the T-6 bit from the set I bought off Amazon. What's funny is the T-7 key from the Harbor Freight set fits the screw holes better and more snug than the T-6 bit does from the Amazon set (stripped the screws), and the T-7 bit from the Amazon set is too big to fit the screws.
