i used this grip tape off amazon for my GPW. Theres a rubbery version but i felt the granulated gave more grip. Its been on for about 8 months and hasnt peeled or needed to be reapplied at all

used a hair dryer and an xacto blade to mold and cut
took about 1 hour and was extremely easy.
the hardest part was taking apart the 2 part shell of the mouse as i almost broke a tab that holds the top together with the sides.
next mod will be a paracord... although i dont necessarily need one since i use a bungee
I've seen a lot of people use gun grip tape to pad up their mouse, something like that would probably help you out here.
