This butane has worked very well for me - lasts a long time too.
I find use matches to be infuriating matches unless I'm inside somewhere with no breeze, or it's a small cheroot or other very small cigar.

but my friend seems to think whatever the cheapest option they have at home depot will work all the same. i'm pretty sure i've read that using cheap tane will lead to a less clean and powerful flame and can cause your torch to sputter more. but that doesn't exactly sound like a solid answer so i figured i'd ask you guys
