It's little pricey, but the way it clamps onto the edge of your desk keeps your wrist from ever touching the desk. Although it is HUGE. It hangs off my sliding keyboard tray by 4-6 inches.
If you're in the market for a mouse pad I highly recommend this one. It's huge, tracks well & is very comfortable thanks to that wraparound arm support that goes over the edge of the desk. Had it probably 3 years now and love it, never going back to a small mouse pad.

The XFX Warpad is around 40 bucks and it has been worth every penny for me. The way the wrist support hangs over the edge has completely changed how I hold my arm when gaming and I no longer have any discomfort. I thought it may have just been placebo effect so I removed it for 2 days and was right back to holding my mouse with my wrist at a 75 degree angle and being uncomfortable. Few things I'll endorse, but my DasKeyboard and XFX Warpad have improved my computer experience more than any other single upgrade (except the SSD, but that's like alien technology compared to the junker I had before).

I use this. The clip on edge thing for your desk is totally awesome. It is Lycra however so I don't know if it'll have too much friction for you. As a bonus, the Serial number of the product says looks like it says FAGSLAYER.
