Absolutely. DIY CO2 is ridiculously easy. I’m not that technically inclined so if I can do it anyone can. This may seem like a lot but it’s not as bad as it looks. I used to use the Fluval 88g CO2 system but it was ludicrously expensive to but the proprietary refill canisters. This setup is soooo cheap and completely reliable and produces ample CO2. I’m happy to tell you some pitfalls once you get it set up because it would be hard for you to follow me without having it in front of you.

This was absolutely amazing. I found this recipe from https://fishncanada.com/category/eating-wild/
If you like recipes that include lots of wild game and exotic meats they have a couple more on there that are really good. But this one is gotta be my absolute favourite way to eat pancakes now!
Ingredients
For the pancakes
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons sugar
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
3 cups buttermilk
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus 1/2 teaspoon for griddle
For the Sponge Toffee
Vegetable oil, to grease the pan
2 ½ cup granulated sugar (625 ml)
⅔ cup light corn syrup (150 ml)
6 Tbsp water (90 ml)
2 Tbsp baking soda (30 ml)
For Garnishing
1 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup apple butter
1/2 cup pickled cranberries(or any berry)
icing sugar
1/2 liter whipped cream
Method
For the sponge toffee (may be done in advance)
It is true, deodorant and baking soda generally contains heavy metals, particularly aluminum.
I'd pay a few cents more and go with Bob's Red Mill.

Last tent I ordered online instead of getting at Campmor had a similar smell.. not so much fishy, more just like it has been exposed to some dampness and not properly dried out. I just kind of figured it was due to being shipped cross country and going through different humidity levels. I opened it up on a clear day, with it's windows unzipped, with one of those Arm & Hammer baking soda boxes made for the fridge on the floor of it. I don't know if the baking soda made a difference, but the tent sat for roughly 12 hours and smelt fine afterwards.
Baking soda box, like for a refrigerator. Here
It's cheap and convenient, and not a harmful chemical. Baking soda absorbs odors nicely. It actually eliminates them instead of covering them up. Good luck!
Thank you for the explanation that makes a lot of sense. Forgive me if I'm being stupid but could I use this:
Dr Oetker Bicarbonate Soda 200G https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00MWV9YJI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_VAzoDbMYE3Y43
I already have this at home but may e it's not the same quality or concentration or something as the one you linked me to.
Really appreciate your help and the links provided. Thank you!
I've been converted to one of those "make your own laundry detergent" hippies.
To make the detergent, use equal parts (I usually start with one cup, and repeat as many times as necessary.) of the following:
-Washing Soda ( https://smile.amazon.com/Arm-Hammer-Super-Washing-Soda/dp/B00K6ON8BI/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1536841265&sr=8-4&keywords=washing+soda )
-Borax ( https://smile.amazon.com/Borax-Natural-Laundry-Booster-Ounce/dp/B0039BWC9E/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1536841236&sr=8-1&keywords=twenty+mule+team+borax )
-Ground up / run through the food processor / chopped / whatever'd Bar Fels Naptha. ( https://smile.amazon.com/Dial-Corp-04303-Fels-Naptha-Laundry/dp/B00A7ZD9RE/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1536841213&sr=8-4&keywords=fels+naptha+laundry+bar+soap )
NOTE: THIS STUFF IS ALL CHEAPER AT YOUR LOCAL GROCERY STORE!!!!! I put the Amazon links in there for reference.
Now, that sounds really weird and kinda complicated. Truth is, once you grind up a bar of naptha, you just dump the ingredients into your storage container, mix thoroughly, and you're done. It works fine in newer high efficiency washers, and doesn't have any smell. No issues with sensitive skin either. The ingredients are dirt cheap, especially compared to even factoring in the time it takes to grind up the naptha bars.
I don't think it'll scratch the cloud, but actually I find that by far the best way to clean my glassware is using Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash). Not sodium bicarbonate, which is baking soda.
http://www.amazon.com/Sodium-Carbonate-Na2co3-Soda-Ash/dp/B005JHGVTI
Just pick some up if you can find it locally, add two teaspoons or so to water in an old pot and boild it. Put the glass in for 5-15 minutes and hwne you take it out, after a gentle wash and scrub, it will look better than when Santino sent it to you.
I think I read this on Reddit somewhere, maybe HookahPro, I don't remember.
cowpox! :3
Baking soda costs less than newspaper and does a better job.
Yeah no trouble at all, here are the links, and I personally felt great during this fast, so am of the opinion that there is no reason to change something that is not broken,
Potassium Chloride
Sodium Chloride
Sodium Bicarbonate
Magnesium Sulfate
Buy vinegar, bicarb, food colouring and pipettes. Put the bicarb in a tray, and mix the vinegar with food colouring in cups. Let the kids use the pipettes to drop vinegar into the bicarb and watch it fizz and bubble!
I do this with my class all the time, and they love it. The colouring just makes it extra fun. Of course, you can also just put the vinegar in a cup or bottle and drop the bicarb in... fwoosh! Explosion!
Ever been on Amazon.ca ? Canadians have been forced to be vigilant when buying online since Amazon.ca is flooded with 3rd party sellers that have either jacked up prices or jacked up shipping.
For example: 500g arm and hammer baking soda:
on amazon.ca, $11.24 CAD
on walmart.ca, $1.28 CAD
All because of 3rd party sellers. It's a pain, and this crap happens on many common products. I don't even know why these 3rd party sellers even bother listing items when they're so outrageously priced. They must be hoping to cash-in on Canadians not paying attention when buying.

Brick & mortar for large quantities: probably Metro, but I don't know how you can buy there without a VAT-number
HP likes an acidic environment. They are smart. When the environment is not to their liking there will dig holes in the gut and hide in them. They come out when it is safe. The holes cause a leaky gut which allows for a whole host of problems.
The baking soda tricks them into thinking its a good time to come out. The mastic gum kills them. Its a way to keep HP in check.
I use this one. It seemed stronger than others I bought...basing off the fact that when I would burp it would taste like the actual gums I would use. Both seemed to help.
I would just fill empty gel caps with basic non AL baking soda.

Baking Soda and Xilitol (this one looks like it comes from abroad. You could also check out the park n shop in DIP, I think thats where I purchased my Xilitol a few years ago when I was doing keto and they probably also have baking soda.
As for the bentonite clay, I cant find any that isn't for topical uses or in kitty litter...
You obviously don't know American baking soda and what happens to it in the fridge. And if you don't understand the ingredients or fancy "American" units like teaspoons, your claim that the proportions are "nonsense" is downright silly.
Besides, you cannot reproduce Denny's style pancakes with foreign ingredients because flour is totally different, the milk is different and even the eggs don't taste the same.
