Weighted blanket will definitely help with RLS. It does for me.

I’m gonna get this so my feet don’t start hurting when I’m in the shower (if I’m feeling alright to stand): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DTXF9GC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_k7YzDbBXT4MJD

And I’m gonna get this for sitting in the shower: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XXZQ4XS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_c8YzDb0FD7V0P

Pain management:

  • heating pad
  • heated blanket
  • tiger balm combined with menthol/comfort gel
  • compression stuff

If there are specific things you have trouble with, let me know and I can help brainstorm ideas if you’d like!

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ZAS14AS-Excluding-Bolts-Wood-Zoo-Hardware/dp/B01HR2ZX82

It's called a drop bolt socket or dust excluding socket from what I can tell.

Depends on your budget matey, in the UK you can pick up a semi-decent vice from Lidl - they crop up occassionally so you would need to keep an eye out, always well under £10.

In lieu of that a C Clamp - about £7, I'm sure you can get that cheaper in a hardware store or Spring Clamp - about £2 - MAY do the job when attached to the right furniture - right height, thickness - a chair back has worked for me before.

Maplin offers a really decent multi angle offering for the relatively cheap proice of £6.95.

You want either - Suction / Very Heavy base or something like the Stanley which really is super flexible - roughly £16 - so yes, third thing is FLEXIBLE head, multi-tilt etc. 4th thing - width:

All that being said, most of those don't 'extend' past 4 inches, which is fine for 99% of locks but if you need more:

If US and you have a bit of cash panavise - They do a model for about... $90 I think which extends to 12" or so. Can't link directly as their site seems to be down for me now, sorry. They also do models at £60 but again, I'm sure Lowes or Home Depot can provide something for under $15

So:

  • Price
  • Weight
  • Stability
  • Flexibility
  • Portability
  • Quality - Don't buy Chinese! Anecdotally heard they all seem to fail very quickly at the 'head joint'.

    Hope that helps!

    Cheers

    J

EDIT - Added prices and fixed typos.

Yes, I have a real tub so unfortunately can't follow OP's lead either. In the same spirit though (but not quite as cool, I recently upgraded my shower mat to this, which covers nearly the whole tub and in general lives up to its description on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Grip-Original-Antibacterial-Phthalate/dp/B01F5K9YNS

u/richard0copeland · 3 pointsr/gaming

you can literally buy a weather balloon and an action camera for under $250. video the curviture (or lack thereof) of the earth and post it to the internet for all to see otherwise you are breaching your own rules on direct observation being proof and what the "other" says to be false, unless you only trust the facts of the "other" when it suits you.

I love my Apex tanks but I know what you mean. I tend to just run hot water through it but i guess a soak in IPA might help with the left behind taste, just give it a good rinse afterwards. I have used the one above on other tanks with no problems.

One word of warning, I once tried to put a q-tip into it to clean, where the wick holes are on the tank (up from the bottom) there are two rubber seals that help make up the holes and one of the seals popped out and it was an absolute sod to get it back in, so don't do that.

They kind of remind me of those bathmats that turn blood red when wet

u/1981sdp · 2 pointsr/DoesAnybodyElse

Not exactly what you meant but I found this

u/Meat_tricycle · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

how about this sweet bath mat?

u/madderadder · 2 pointsr/Indiemakeupandmore

I'm in the UK; I got 99% alcohol from Amazon, here -- in case you ever want to press more. :)

u/zgh5002 · 2 pointsr/AskMen
u/narcolepsyinc · 2 pointsr/funny

Well, yeah. Only air went into the tub though. There was a hose that ran from the mat to the air pump and the pump was plugged in.

Here is a newer version of what we had.

The lead under the 7 seems to be the one causing total failure. It's rubbed right through. Resoldering is your best option on the cheap, or conductive paint that can be used to repair rear window defroster on cars.

example on Amazon uk

u/mrsjksnowwis · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Oh, no shower? There's also this bathmat though it's a little out of 15$ range.

u/Tripsy_mcfallover · 1 pointr/funny

It doesn't turn red with water. The picture is its permanent state.

Drill the whole around 1.5 inch from the top of the hilt its as simple as that.

Use an M4 drill/tap combo bit you can buy them from ebay or buy a set on amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Drill-Combination-Pieces-Thread-Spiral/dp/B01DIWWT0A

Then buy a M4 grub screw packs of 10 on ebay are $1 and come in black or stainless steel.

Thats it no guide needed its just drilling a hole.... the LED module if you shake will have enough wire length normally to come out the end of the hilt so you can drill with it out the way.

We use this one and it works great -

Wimaha XL Bathtub Mat, Bath Shower Mat Non Slip for Bathroom, Machine Washable, Ideal for Kids Toddler Senior, 39 x 16, Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072L2Z2GK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_5XLrDbX11QDBF

u/ManBearPig1865 · 1 pointr/pics

Something like this perhaps?

The only other thing I could think of are the rubber matts with suction cups on the bottom to make the tub less slick, but you may run into the plastic smell again.

u/albeaner · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

Indoor/outdoor rugs or mats wherever there might be water/splashing. You can get nice soft bathroom ones like this or a more utilitarian one like this.

Both found at home depot/lowes/bed bath and beyond.

u/nkino650 · 1 pointr/TruckCampers

Thanks! Yeah no problem. Mind Reader BAMAT-BRN Luxury Roll Up Shower Bath Mat, Anti-Slip Mat, Environment Friendly Bamboo, Brown https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F92T98T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2mm6CbVHDC88T

There’s some other more robust ones on amazon that don’t roll up but I wanted something that was more compact I don’t use it a whole lot but it works for me.

This is what I put in our tub , it works really well and doesn't float/move like others I have had in the past.

u/IrishTripletMom · 1 pointr/parentsofmultiples

At 6 months we put the twins in a laundry basket with a towel on the bottom in the bathtub. By 10 months we moved to the bathtub with like 2” of water and the laundry basket upside down blocking off the back 1/3 of the bathtub.

We got an awesome non-slip May for the tub when they wanted to crawl/walk around the tub shortly after that. It fits 98% of our tub and is both easy to wash and keeps the twins from slipping.

Gorilla Grip Original Patented... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F5K9YNS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

After bath I wrap a towel around them (the kind with a hood) and let them run free. My husband usually grabs one and I grab the other and we move to the living room to do diapers and jammies. It’s possible to do it solo, but SO much easier with a partner for the getting them dressed part.

u/vi_rus · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

Haha okay, I figured.

> 100% more visages of bear/ other domineering animals

This sounds a little crazy, but that might just make it awesome. Any idea where I can get these (reasonably priced)?

> 100% more wood. Begin replacing everything with wood. Mirror: Wood.

I'm renting so can't replace the mirror.

> Toilet: Wood.

One of these?

> Shower Mat: Wood.

For the shower mat - do you mean something like this or this?

Much depends on what else is going on. If the beer is tapped under pressure with one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/VYAIR-Type-Piece-Connector-Fitting/dp/B00TSOMPR0/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=food+safe+hose+tubing+tee&qid=1568667796&sr=8-1 and some tubing you'll be sorted. If they're running hand pumps you're going to need a mate.

Rather like Hastings, but Southampton, Plymouth, and Falmouth are nearer to my heart.

I am using something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00S8GRCBI/ref=pd_aw_sim_60_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=H1ATYSP2Z2M419NCJZ9Y

Edit: I am using 3 of them currently, 1 for each faction.

Edit 2: the yt1300 is too large for the large container so i just removed some bins to make for my 2. Same with the ghost, shadow caster, yv666, and decimator (I assume)

ye you can wear them in the Shower and it Depends on the Manufacture on how long you wear them in Estradots case its a switch , every 3.5 days means 84 Hours Maximum then Switch it out for a new Patch ( i usually let the old one Applyed for another 12 Hours) means : are 3.5 Days over i Apply the new Patch then i wait another 12 hours and Remove the Old Patch that way i have no Homon Crashes :)). Snag a bamboo mat to stand on. Seems like they'd be easy to store. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00472O4YK/?coliid=I2GUTVS4AWEMHA
